01What we collect
- This site has no sign-up, comments or contact forms, and does not directly collect or store visitors' personal information.
- Game accounts and play data are handled by MapleStory Worlds (Nexon) under Nexon's privacy policy.
- To run the game (support, recovery, sanctions and abuse investigation), we keep in-game identifiers (UserId, character name) and activity records (player trades, discarded items, deleted characters, reports and similar) on our server (Cloudflare) for 30 days, then delete them. Auction trade records are kept for 90 days to resolve disputes. Per-account currency balances and pet holdings are kept as a single latest value for economy and balance decisions and are deleted when the service ends. Dispute backups made at the data reset during the official launch maintenance on Oct 30, 2026 are stored where only the operator can access them and are deleted 90 days after the official launch. A report also stores its content, character information and part of the nearby chat at that moment. Sanction history (to judge repeated violations) and the first and last dates you were seen (for retention statistics) are kept for 1 year.
- To deliver the CBT thank-you gift, we keep the list of accounts (UserId) that logged in during the CBT and delete it when the gift mail's storage period (35 days after sending) ends.
02Automatically processed data
- Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process access logs such as IP address, time and browser details for security and operation.
- Fonts, pet images and external images in news posts load from other servers, which may receive your IP address.
- After a failed operator login, the IP address is used for 15 minutes to stop repeated attempts. It exists only in server memory and is gone when the server restarts.
03Browser storage
- Your display mode (dark/light) and language choices are stored only in your browser and are never sent to our server.
- We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The operator login cookie is used only by operators.
04External services
- Discord's privacy policy applies once you move to Discord.
- Posts on Discord are stored by Discord, and posts in public channels are visible to other users.
05Children and teens
- We do not collect personal information from children under 14. Requesting personal information from minors in Discord or the game is handled under the Operating policy.
06Contact and remedies
- Send privacy questions through the Discord support forum. Do not post personal information publicly.
- You can also contact the Personal Information Infringement Report Center (privacy.kisa.or.kr, call 118) or the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee (www.kopico.go.kr).

Change history
- First version of all policies
- Operating policy: recovery requests within 14 days; added in-game pet buyback guidance
- Refund policy: World Coin payments follow MapleStory Worlds policy; Maple Point items follow this world's rules
- Operating policy: recovery is once per record and a deleted character needs its own slot free; added in-game reporting; trade fraud now reclaims the offender's gains instead of restoring the loss, matching the rule that traded items are not restored. Privacy policy: operation records (activity, reports, nearby chat) are kept on our server for 30 days
- Added closed beta and OBT reset notes; no World Coin sales during the closed beta; corrected retention periods (auction records 90 days; currency balances and pet holdings until the data reset)
- Privacy policy: added that CBT reward records (participation, attendance days, highest level) are kept until rewards are delivered. Operating policy/FAQ: character names listed in the reset
- Operating policy: replaced the CBT notes with live service notes for the official launch on Oct 30, 2026. Refund policy: replaced the closed beta section now that World Coin products are on sale. Privacy policy: currency balances and pet holdings are kept until the service ends, and the only CBT record kept is the list of CBT accounts for the thank-you gift, until the gift mail expires
- Added the Traditional Chinese site, with policy translations for reference. Privacy policy: language choice added to browser storage
